Nine of Alison's paintings will be featured in the Autumn 2008 edition of The Gettysburg Review, a quarterly literary magazine. Available for sale at newstands or at www.gettysburgreview.com



Alison’s painting Eavesdropping will be included in a new book about Maine painting. More Paintings of Maine by Carl Little will be released later this spring 2006 from Down East Books.

A review of Alison’s last solo show is in Art New England Magazine Dec./ Jan. 2006. “Alison Rector: Summer Shelter at Ten High Street” by Carl Little is posted on the art reviews page of this site.

Alison's paintings hang in Senator Olympia Snowe's Washington DC Conference Room

When Alison isn’t painting, she is most likely taking a walk with her dog Corky, or working on the homestead farm she shares with husband Eric.
